I think that hook was messing something up so they changed something and now it shows as MW3 dedi server. Oh, we've connected to a cracked server. when i go to recorings there is no sterio mix that i can activate. They hook Steam to get your Steams guid for things like logging or enforcing server bans. When installing the game punkbaster gave a problem, but I coppied a file from the internet into it which should have solved the pb problem. I have uninstalled and installed the game. "Is Punkbuster not supported anymore": No it's not. Servers can still stream info and bans to PB, also screenshots and reports can still be saubmitted, PB bans hackers to this day in COD2.
