This album is great. If you want to hear something that's emotionally and sonically heavy rather than simply genre-heavy then Tesseract always delivers. 7 tracks (36:24).
This is their best since "One" (2010). 2: This album has a part in Juno where the drums go half time and it feels to me (just opinion) a little forced.

Sonder adds significant firepower to the band’s arsenal, blending the harsh abrasiveness of One (2011) and progressive ethereal elements of Altered State (2013) with the accessibility of Polaris (2015). Not that they don't do crazy stuff in their other songs, but they are so good at song writing that you don't hear what they are doing unless you focus on the individual parts.
I didn't think they could keep pace with their last album, but this is a masterpiece.
