Highly recommend listening to their night of the storm rider album or the glorious burdenI vote for the very best band in the whole world, all that some of those top bands have that Iced Earth doesn't is a lot of people knowing them, there should way be more iced earth fans out there, because they are and will allways be my favourite ever. The black album gave them a taste of "success" after that it was all down hill. That album is one of the best albums ever made. My number 1. They may not be considered "classic, " but Jimmy can lay down the same rapid beats as any famous drummer in history.
Nothing against A7X but Trivium are just simply more metal.I see Trivium as more of a Heavy/Thrash Metal band than Metalcore. Before people say that they aren't even metal, they have distorted guitars, double bass, chugging riffs, what's not metal about that? Metallica’s rapid and aggressive pace has landed the band in the “Top Four” list, alongside Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer as the best heavy metal bands ever. And someone tried to criticize me that demolition hammer was better and pfff slayer was better. Got 4 number 1's on the billboard in a row. Definitely the best. Why is this amazing band so underrated?
Also, unlike Metallica, Maiden's new stuff is just as badass and orgasmic as their old stuff, whereas Metallica peaked at MoP and went straight to hell after the Black Album.Even Metallica's best songs like Master of Puppets and Ride the Lighting can't hold a candle the the legendary Hallowed be thy Name and Fear of the Dark.Black Sabbath, without them half these band out here would not exist.
