Nachdem er sich wieder erholt hat, erscheint Ende 2007 das siebte Studioalbum "Muss ihnen eine Menge Spaß gemacht haben, denn im Folgejahr kommt auch "Spine Of God" in den Genuss einer eigenen Tournee, was für spätgeborene MM-Fans nach der "Dopes"-Erfahrung die finale Erfüllung eines Traums darstellt.

The band have released 10 studio albums since their debut effort, 1991’s “Spine Of God”, and have since become one of the most well respected names in American heavy metal. Monster Magnet gehören seit gut drei Jahrzehnten zu den einflussreichsten Urgesteinen der Stoner Rock-Szene und stehen für visionären Retro-Rock made in New Jersey. Anfang der Neunziger erscheint eine kleine aber feine EP bei Glitterhouse Records unter dem Arbeitstitel "Monster Magnet" (zuvor erregt man mit einem Demotape namens "Forget About Life I'm High On Dope" Aufmerksamkeit). Not the best I've seen with MM but good. A female drummer, a male guitarist/singer and they were really great - but maybe they can try another singer?
